I just think it would be cool if some more features for interacting are added here. Since many people can't use the chat by voice feature, maybe something can be done so that all of us can participate, just like they do it on
www.vipconduit.com
and other such sites.
Also, it would be cool to organize certain online events we can follow and participate in: contests, quizes, etc. Hope you can consider it.
while it would be cool to have more contests on the site, i think you should bear the following in mind.
1. someone needs to take the time to set it up, and either have time to atend the contest (for example if it's a quiz or maybe a debate hosted by someone).
2. there has to be enough interest. what 1 person may think is a good idea, others might hate it.
3. it has to be something everyone can participate in, and also something that can be done in a reasonable amount of time. for example the quizzes that dusty used to do were a good idea, mainly because it was run by someone who took the time each week, and everyone had a fair chance of taking part. there's been events like tune trivia, however i really doubt will happen again. first you have to find the judges, then you want a time when everyone can do there little bit, a medium to access and staff time. if something else happens on here, it should be short and sweet.
As for more voice chat features being implemented, I don't think that's gonna happen because there are already other sites, as you said, that do that. Not having a feature like that makes the zone different, and it might not be used by many people anyway, especially if they've been here awhile and are used to the system as it is now.

Only hopeless optimists are still bothering to make suggestions after it has been made abundantly clear that the admins are too busy to read, let alone implement, any suggestions.
Regarding quizzes, I believe Dusty is going to start up the quicknote quizzes again in January.
